BENIN CITY: The National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE Edo state chapter, yesterday protested the non- payment of staff salaries by the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
The protesters who took to major streets in Benin metropolis to protest the non-payment of their 8months salaries said they were left with no choice but to embark on the protest and to appeal to Edo people to prevail on the governor to pay their salaries.
