Ben Bruce speaks on seizure of properties

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has finally opened up on the N11 billion debt he is owing Union Bank Plc. which led to why Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) seized his assets recently. 

“I have been on an international flight and have only just landed. The situation is being resolved and things will be back to normal. In 36 years, Silverbird has grown and like anybody, it will face challenges. Tough times don’t last. But we, as tough people outlast them.”

AMCON sealed up Abuja premises of Silverbird Galleria belonging to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce recently. The galleria houses the Abuja studio of the Radio and Television stations of the senator as well as his other business interests. Apart from Bruce’s companies, the seven-storey building also houses other companies such as Shoprite.It was gathered that the Silverbird Galleria in Lagos was also sealed with workers being denied entry into the galleria, which also houses Silverbird Television and Silverbird Cinema.
